No. If you are travelling to us from further south or the east coast via Glasgow you can drive along the M8 west and cross the Erskine Bridge. From here follow the A82 to Tarbet then turn left onto the A83 and over the beautiful "Rest And Be Thankful". Before you reach Cairndow, turn left onto the A815 and follow that road directly to the Holy Loch Marina and Dunoon.

Do I need to book the ferry in advance?
No. Western Ferries run on a "Turn Up & Go" basis so there is no advanced bookings. Ferries run every 20-30 minutes so if you miss one, you will not have long to wait until the next one. We strongly advice that you purchase tickets BEFORE getting on the ferry as they are much cheaper. You can buy them online or at these ticket agents.
Yes. We can arrange pickups from Glasgow Airport. These will be via local taxi companies who have the ability to provide extra trailer storage for groups carrying additional luggage. Contact us directly for prices and more information.
If you decide to fly up to visit us, the easiest way would be to use the wide range of car hire options within Glasgow Aiport itself. Please click here for further information.
